A deadly disease (Covid-19) is looming at large and threatening the entire population in way never seen before. The Government, NGOs of international and national repute, local organizations and even individuals/Self Help Groups are out on the streets, at this time, fighting this crisis, helping lives. With over 200 million people living off 1 dollar/per day in India (that's right!), it is an uphill task for relief to reach every individual. It’s a race against the clock!

As a developing populous country, we are currently facing immeasurable hardships with livelihood loss, shortage of essential (bare minimum) supplies, and health hazards. Our hearts bleed looking at the plight of the common man, and we are emboldened in our resolve to help! And you can too.
So how do we go about this?
Numerous LOCAL MICRO SCALE ORGANISATIONS are working tirelessly with limited resources without proper communication channels (websites, payment portals). We aim to gather funds for them internationally, with ABSOLUTE TRANSPARENCY AND NO FEES, and disburse these funds instantly. We also aim to connect them to you directly and showcase their work.
All in the best of spirit. No business here!

- Individual payments to each organization, via different payment methods are tiresome?
We understand.
We address these problems, by providing a custom list of verified MICRO-SCALE organizations with their work history, their individual contacts, other details. We have set up 1 universal payment account (connected via Paypal, Paytm, Gpay etc) for donations to all these organizations at once. No multiple donations, no multi-platform access. Use the platform of choice and make 1 payment.
ALTERNATIVELY, if you want to donate to any preferred organization directly, we have provided information for direct deposit to each organization too.FEEL FREE. Help in a way that serves you best!
What else?
We do not just go by word-of-mouth publicity. The members of our team, have directly worked with the organizations listed here.
Does that prove them legitimate? NO.
But rest assured, we have cross checked each organization's work since the outbreak, and we trust them. Again, please understand that these are MICRO SCALE SELF HELP GROUPS, local NGOs. Their only way of showcasing legitimacy is through their work, and we have ample examples shown below to describe that.
Why micro scale groups?
We are committed to help target population. Not taking anything away from large scale organizations, but in our experience, micro scale groups are QUICKER in helping out targeted population (homeless people of a region in kolkata, a few local settlements in delhi, feeding the population from the informal settlements in Mumbai etc) and they are EXTREMELY TRANSPARENT. Hence, our portal will be ONLY RESTRICTED TO MICRO SCALE ORGS.
Why only a few NGOs?
As explained, this is not a full fledged business portal. A group of trusted volunteers are working on this PILOT ENABLING PLATFORM. We want to focus on ensuring legitimacy, and quickness of disbursal during these testing times. For large scale repository of NGOs, Ketto and Milaap are doing great work. This portal is more focused and local in scale.
What other means do we provide to ensure transparency?
You can also choose to use this page as an information portal. We will provide the selected list of VERIFIED MICRO SCALE ORGANIZATIONS, complete with all possible details, and you can contact/pay them directly too. This website is meant to provide greater outreach and we will provide all means to an end.
If you choose to trust us with your donations, we will provide you will confirmation of receipt and disbursal. We will also request the organizations to reach out to you in appreciation!
What can we NOT DO?
We CANNOT provide you TAX REBATES. There are ample organizations, CM/PM funds where you can choose to donate and get tax rebates. We have faith in such organizations to work in tandem towards a common good. However, this portal was created based on urgent need, and we can only direct your help to the most desperate in need.
We can only PROMISE, your support to these groups, will INCREMENTALLY HELP THE GRASS-ROOTS LEVEL OF INDIA.
NOTE: With time, as we find more legitimate groups who need support, we will update/append to our list. If you have information on such groups/organizations, feel free to reach out, and we will try to accommodate them.

Three groups in Mumbai have come together to help a huge population suffering in the slums of Mumbai. They are providing dry rations, cooked food and essential supplies.
Bansdroni Hridhi
Local NGO regularly supporting the homeless right from the day one of Lock Down in the localities of South Kolkata.
AAYNA Hunger Relief
A Self Help Group initiative, actively supporting multiple low earning daily wage workers and inhabitants from various localities across Delhi right from the initial days of lockdown in India.
Bamangachi Hunger Relief
A group of volunteers near suburban Bengal in Howrah district are working to provide ration, dry ration as well as cooked food to below poverty line people. The place has recently been highlighted as a "hotspot" for Covid- 19.
Kheya Support Group
A group of friends from Belur Ramkrishna Mission who are actively assessing the situation in different parts of rural Bengal to understand the critical locations. They are providing different forms of relief to remote villages and towns in Purba Burdwan and hoogly districts, like Goaldanga, Tarakeshwar, Khanakul etc.

What they do?
A group of volunteers is helping out poor families with livelihood loss (maids, daily wage earners, etc) in the localities of Delhi. They provide packets of food by family. They have served ~1500 families in the last week.

What they do?
Three groups, "ghar bachao ghar banao andolan", "PUCL" and "Helping Hands Trust" have come together voluntarily to support the people in distress in Mumbai. They are operating out of the informal settlements, and other low income localities. Supporting numerous efforts like: Dry Ration, Essential items and medical supplies, Cooked food distribution, shelter camps etc.

What they do?
A local group from Baghajatin, Kolkata procuring supplies for local factory / civil / domestic workers in addition to feeding village population in south bengal. Additionally working to provide supplies of gloves and masks to police and other essential workers (police force)

The group has been actively supporting Ram Krishna Mission. As per quoted in a local newspaper (Anonda Bazar Patrika) they have provided 1500 Kgs. of rice and 300 kgs of pulses till 08.04.2020.
